Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud(Amazon EC2)는 scalable computing capacity를 제공한다. Amazon EC2는 harware upfront에 투자할 필요성을 제거한다, 결과적으로 어플리케이션을 더 빠르게 개발하고 배포할 수 있도록 해준다. 필요한 만큼 virtual server를 실행할 수 있으며, 보안과 네트워킹 그리고 storage를 관리할 수 있다.
